Staying with a host family is the best way to practice and improve your English. Our dedicated host families will help you with the way of life here in Newcastle upon Tyne. We try our very best to accommodate you to your specific needs. All of our families are located in and around the city centre for your convenience.

These host families are inspected throughout the year by NISE staff to ensure that they keep up their great standard.

If you would like other means of accommodation, we can also help.

There are various hotels in the area, or we can also help you arrange your own accommodation if you require your own flat or a flat share. Simply get in touch with us and we will do whatever we can to help.

Accommodation Prices 

Host family, full board £135 per week

Same as half board but includes a packed lunch as well.

Host family, half board £120 per week

Half board home stay gives you all the benefits of living with a host family, and entitles you to have 2 meals a day (in the morning & in the evening) and all meals during the weekends. The cost of Half Board home stay accommodation is £120 per week, but does depend on location and availability.

Host family, self catering £85 per week

You will enjoy all the benefits of living with a host family, but you are responsible for your own catering. You will buy and cook your own meals. For self catering home stay accommodation the cost will be £85 per week, this will depend on location and availability.

Please note: All options are subject to availability. If homestay accommodation is limited we may be able to source alternative accommodation with varying tariffs.
